Upcoming film 'Body Of Lies' -2008

Body of Lies is an upcoming 2008 American film adaptation of the novel of the same name by David Ignatius about a CIA operative who goes to Jordan to track a high-ranking terrorist. The film is directed by Ridley Scott, written by William Monahan, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe and Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani. Production took place in Washington D.C. and Morocco. Body of Lies is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 10, 2008. The film has been rated R by the MPAA. The film's tagline is "Trust No One, Deceive Everyone."
Synopsis:
Roger Ferris is the best man U.S. Intelligence has on the ground, in places where human life is worth no more than the information it can get you. In operations that take him around the globe, Ferris’ next breath often depends on the voice at the other end of a secure phone line--CIA veteran Ed Hoffman. Strategizing from a laptop in the suburbs, Hoffman is on the trail of an emerging terrorist leader who has orchestrated a campaign of bombings while eluding the most sophisticated intelligence network in the world. To lure the terrorist out into the open, Ferris will have to penetrate his murky world, but the closer Ferris gets to the target, the more he discovers that trust is both a dangerous commodity and the only one that will get him out alive.
Cast
Leonardo DiCaprio as Roger Ferris, a CIA operative who is sent to Jordan.
DiCaprio chose to pursue the role because he considered it a throwback to political films in the 1970s such as The Parallax View (1974) and Three Days of the Condor (1975).
Russell Crowe as Ed Hoffman, a manipulative CIA boss who teams with Ferris. Crowe gained 30 pounds to suit his role. The actor said as a result of the film's exploration of the American government and foreign policy, "I don't think it will be very popular, but that’s never been part of my project choice process."
Golshifteh Farahani as Aisha, Rogers nurse in Jordan. She has starred in movies such as M like Mother, Half Moon, and Santouri.
Carice van Houten as Roger Ferris' ex-wife.
Mark Strong as the head of Jordanian secret service. Strong ascribed his acquisition of the role to his performances in the 2005 films Syriana and Oliver Twist.
Vince Colosimo as Skip
Oscar Isaac in an unnamed role.
Music
The score to Body of Lies was composed by composer Marc Streitenfeld, who has now composed music for Ridley Scott for three features. He recorded the orchestral portions of his score at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers Studios. It has also been speculated that a song called "If The World" by Guns N Roses off of their long-delayed Chinese Democracy album will be included on the soundtrack. This was confirmed by Del James, a close friend of the band.
Release
Body of Lies has been reported as a film to screen out of competition at the 65th Venice International Film Festival in August-September 2008. The film is scheduled to be commercially released in theaters in the United States on October 10, 2008. The film has also been purchased by Turner Broadcasting System to screen on the television networks TBS and Turner Network Television. The illusionist had previously taped segment of the ABC television special called 'David Blaine: Dive of Death'। He had said when he would do those stunts where he would push his body to the limit, he would feel the magic happening inside him. Hollywood Television series ‘Heroes’

Heroes is an American science fiction serial drama television series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. The series tells the stories of ordinary individuals who discover that they have superhuman abilities, and also explores how these people adapt to the changes these abilities bring, and their roles in preventing catastrophes and saving humanity.
The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, using short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc. Kring and the writers have an idea of where the series is heading for the first five seasons. The series is produced by Universal Media Studios in association with Tailwind Productions, and it is filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California. The executive producers are Allan Arkush, Dennis Hammer, Greg Beeman and Tim Kring.
The critically acclaimed first season's run of 23 episodes garnered an average of 14.3 million viewers in the United States, receiving the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in five years. The second season of Heroes attracted an average of 13.1 million viewers in the United States. The second season was NBC's top series in adults 18-49, the top Monday series on any network in adults 18–49, and the top scripted series on any network in adults 18-34. In addition, the second season marked NBC's sole series among the top 20 ranked programs in total viewership for the 2007-2008 season, according to Nielsen Media Research. A total of 24 episodes were ordered for the second season, but only eleven episodes were broadcast, due to the 100-day strike by the Writers Guild of America. The dispute led to the initial postponement and eventual cancellation of a six episode spin-off titled Heroes: Origins. Heroes returned with its third season on September 22, 2008 in the USA and will premiere on October 1, 2008 in the UK on BBC2.
A digital-internet extension of the series, Heroes 360 Experience, was created to explore the Heroes universe and provides insight into the show's mythology. It was rebranded as Heroes Evolutions at the beginning of the second season. Heroes Evolutions also includes graphic novels, which have been released every Tuesday since September 25, 2006, and were published by WildStorm Comics on November 7, 2007.
Other official Heroes media include magazines, action figures, tie-in and interactive websites, a mobile game, a novel, clothing and other merchandise. NBC Universal announced on April 2, 2008, that NBC Digital Entertainment would release a series of online content for the summer and fall of 2008, including more original web content, wireless iTV interactivity, graphic novels available for mobile viewing and webisodes.
Heroes has garnered a number of awards and nominations. On July 19, 2007 Heroes was nominated in eight categories at the 2007 Primetime Emmy awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and was also nominated for Best Television Series-Drama at the 2007 Golden Globes.
The series won a People's Choice Award in 2007 in the category of Best New Drama, and was named Program of the Year in 2007 by the Television Critics Association and Best International Program at the 2008 Bafta Awards. The series has also been nominated for an NAACP Image Award, a WGA Award, and a Satellite Award.
