1. 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' - $22.6 million
2. 'Eagle Eye' - $16.4 million
3. 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' - $14.0 million
4. 'Nights in Rodanthe' - $8.1 million
5. 'Blindness' - $6.9 million
6. 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' - $5.8 milion
7. 'Fireproof' - $5.0 million
8. 'Appaloosa' - $4.6 million
9. 'An American Carol' - $3.8 million
10. 'Flash of Genius' - $3.8 million
Note: Seven pictures enter nationwide release this weekend, ranking as one of the most crowded on record. Disney comedy 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' leads the way with over 3,800 screens at 3,215 theaters. Comedy 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' roams over 2,600 screens at 2,421 venues. Comedy 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' hits 1,750 theaters, thriller 'Blindness' nabs 1,690, spoof 'An American Carol' grabs 1,639, underdog drama 'Flash of Genius' 1,098, and Western 'Appaloosa' expands to 1,045. 'Eagle Eye' remains the largest release with over 4,700 screens at 3,516 sites.
